tennessee

Our second stop was Tennessee to visit Blake's family.  The kids had so much fun with their grandparents and aunts.  There was go-karting, fishing, building and painting a playhouse, playing games, a day at the water park, a campfire with s'mores, a baseball game, and golfing.  Riley also got her first pair of glasses which she was really excited about.  And I was able to visit some of my  friends from college and when we lived in Tennessee.  It was another full week!



Ford got a hole in one!


This gal, Kelley Davis, was my Young Life leader when I was in high school.  She was there when Blake and I met and her husband, Thadd, is the one who told Blake that I had a crush on him.  Kelley stood beside us on our wedding day as one of my bridesmaids and has continued to be one of my dearest friends even though we live thousands of miles apart.

My friend Lindsey is pregnant and on bedrest in the hospital, so my other friend Kristin and I hung out with her until 1am one night.  


Kristin's daughter Emma has been Riley's best friend from birth.  She came to the airport in Nashville to welcome Riley and have a few minutes with her.
