A few weekends ago we traveled to Lunahuaná, a town about two and a half hours outside of Lima.  We brought along three friends (from KKi) who were visiting and our two interns (who I have neglected to share about).  We spent the day white water rafting and ziplining.  It was a blast and one of those experiences that makes us very thankful to live in Peru.

All 11 of us crammed in our "new" Volkswagon bus.  It's not exactly the most comfortable vehicle for a road trip, but it was worth it.  We also had a breakdown on the way there and on the way home.  (Good way to realize that living in Peru has helped you relax and go with the flow MUCHO.)IMG_0032

The night before...trying to get some sleep.

Guinea pig anyone?
