questions

I'm a little scared to put this out there for fear of no response, but I need some inspiration/ideas for posts. I love keeping up with our blog, but things have been so quiet here lately that I don't have much to post about.

So, I was wondering if there were any questions I could answer. It could be questions about living in Peru, Krochet Kids, how we get here or questions about our life in general. Like aren't we too young to have four kids? (That's one of the most common questions I get asked these days!)

This could be a total bust, but does anyone have any questions that I can answer?

Also, I have a question for you guys. Blake desperately needs a Spanish name. His name is impossible to pronounce here. Any suggestions??

What have you been surprised about being in Peru and what did you actually expect?

How do you have time to spend with Blake with that many kids?

I know you don't know me, but I'm so interested in your blog because my husband and I would love to work for a ministry/company in Latin America in the near future and we're really interested in Peru!

How did you get involved with Krochet Kids and what are your and your husband's specific roles?

If you could give any advice to people feeling called by God to work in the same sort of position and/or part of the world, what would it be?

I'd love to hear more about 4 kids at your young age :) my husband and I are 23 and we are in the process of adopting 2 children from foster care in ca, so we will be able to relate to having kids at a young age.

Also just wondering more about the process of you guys being called to Peru.

Although I don't know you and your family I am so super inspired by the journey you're on!

What do interns with Krochet Kids do? Will you eventually have intern positions in Peru?

I'd love to hear your testimony. At what point in your life did you accept Jesus, and what did you do about it afterwards. I love your heart for God, Sarah, and I'd love to know how He first started working in you! :)

My son (who is 14 and checks your blog everyday :) ) would like to know what your parents and/or immediate family thought about your decision to move to Peru.

My questions mostly circle around the kiddos and the day to day in your home :) I have a 4 year old, a 16 month old, and a one month old. Your children seem to be very well adjusted and you seem level headed and pulled together. What Godly counsel could you offer us mamas out there struggling to create a peaceful balance in our homes? Thanks and God bless. Our family loves praying and reading about your family!

You also don't know me, me and my family would love to do something similar to what your family is doing. We just returned from traveling the states in an R.V. for 6 mnths. We were able to see the poverty that is also in our backyard(America). I am still not sure what our next step is as a family. But I stumbled along your blog from googling living in a 3rd world country with a family. I am curious about how long you plan to live in Peru? How you feel your children are doing? What do you miss the most? What you don't miss? Do you ever feel unsafe? And what advice you would give another family who is interested in following in your footsteps? What is the schooling like for you? I really appreciate your families inspiration and devotion to making this world a better place. Thank you so much for you example.

I am always intrigued when families (with kids especially) sell all their 'stuff' and move away. Sometimes I think it would be freeing, but then I wonder if I could really do it. My question is...how does it feel after the fact of selling almost all that you own? Do you ever miss the 'stuff' or are you glad you don't have to worry about so many belongings? Do you regret anything you got rid of? The question is sort of shallow, I guess, but I just wonder. :) Thanks!

I would love a bullet-point "things we need prayer about" list if ever you feel you need an extra dose.
