gross things

Brady brought home a little present from Guatemala. While we were still there, we noticed that he had a few bites on his face and arm. We assumed that they would eventually heal and go away. A week later, this is what his arm looked like:

Yikes! I took him to the pediatrician and she diagnosed him with folliculitis (infection of the hair follicles). We have no clue how he got it, but he's on antibiotics to clear it up.

Brady also took a spill on Sunday night and split his head open on the couch (yes, our nice soft couch). He got one internal stitch and 4 external stitches. He was very brave through it all and we are going to go get pink (his favorite color) ice cream today as a treat.

One last bit of Brady news, this is his new favorite sandwich:

It's peanut butter and jelly with turkey and cheese. Totally gross, but he loves it.

WTH? Poor Brady... does that infection itch? Emma had those same bumps on her face too, then Mac got them... but, they have cleared up now and no spots like those have emerged (yet).

I'm SO sorry... I always get home from this country and get some sort of sickness.
Praying for little Brady... and, you all too. Not fun!

Love you and miss you ALL!!!
