prayer is powerful

Tyler is home. Prayer is powerful. I have no doubt that Tyler is home because of everyone who lifted her up in prayer and begged God to heal her and get her home. So we thank you- thank you for helping bring Tyler home. Two days ago Tyler had a blood tranfusion. Two days ago "discharge" wasn't even on our radar screen and definitely wasn't a word that had ever been uttered by one of Tyler's doctors. Tonight she is home. Her bili level was 9 this morning- her lowest yet and she had been off the phototherapy for 24 hours! Prayer works. We are still waiting for the results from her blood tests, but probably won't know anything until next week. We will have her bili level tested again on Friday, so we still need prayer that her levels stay healthy so that she can stay home.

Tyler came home and was loved on by her 3 older siblings, took a nap with her mommy, and is now sleeping peacefully in her daddy's arms. Praise God! I'll blog later about my feelings about this whole experience so far, but I'm going to go enjoy my baby girl now.

God is SO GOOD! We will keep lifting you all up, asking for Tyler's levels to stay low, for the blood tests to come back with good news, and for you and your family to have more awesome moments like you have had since she's been home. I hope you all can have a blast this Saturday and enjoy your WHOLE family! YAY!!!

I'm glad Tyler is home with you and things seem brighter. Shaun and I will continue to pray for you all. What a testimony to faith...prayer... and God's love for us - His children. Hang in there.

Just checked in to see how the Goodfellow family was, and we were sad to hear all the struggles. We are in Minnesota praying for you guys and thinking of you often. Lots of love to everyone. Happy Birthday to Ford and Brady. In the words of Ford from Woodleaf 2006, "Party!"
